Abstract: This study aims to investigate the factors influencing career preferences among the emerging generation in Bangladesh. Employing a hybrid research approach combining qualitative and quantitative methods, it explores the complex interplay of sociocultural norms, economic considerations, educational backgrounds, and personal aspirations in shaping career choices. The findings offer valuable insights into the intricate nature of career decisions among the youth in Bangladesh, shedding light on the dynamic interplay between societal changes and individual agency in this rapidly evolving region.
