Abstract: This study looked into the significant difference of the respondent’s profile to the language learning strategies used of the AB-English student. Using a quantitative data, it endeavors to determine the language learning strategies used of the respondents that will benefits both educators and learners to trail the effective strategies of acquiring a new language. This study was conducted at Isabela State University –Echague main campus, having the size of one hundred fifty-six (156) respondents from 1st year to 4th year AB-English. The instruments used in this study encompassed of six questionnaires such as Memory strategies, Cognitive strategies, Compensation strategies, Meta-cognitive strategies, Affective strategies and Social strategies.
