Abstract: This study evaluated the implementation of Civic Education curriculum in Zambia, focusing on its effectiveness in fostering democratic and active citizenship. Using a mixed-methods approach, the study investigated administrator and teacher perspectives, student outcomes, and curriculum alignment with national priorities. Data collection involved surveys, interviews, and document analysis. The study found curriculum implementation in Zambia to have a positive influence on enhancing critical thinking, community engagement, and civic knowledge among students. The study recommends context-specific curriculum development, teacher training, and increased resource allocation. Policy implications include integrating Civic Education into national education policy, establishing standards, and fostering partnerships with civil society organizations.
