Abstract: This study attempted to determine the relationship between body image and emotion regulation strategies. Employing the descriptive (survey) method by random technique sampling with the aid of body image questionnaire (BESA) and emotion regulation strategies questionnaire (CERQ), the current study collected data from 305 male undergrad students enrolled for the diploma and degree of the year 2021 to 2024 at Universiti Teknologi MARA, Samarahan Campus, Sarawak (UiTM). The questionnaire culled background information, then requested respondents to rate their body image and emotion regulation strategies, and rate all on a five-point scale. To test consistency, Cronbach’s alpha (a) was used, while Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient (Pearson r) was used to measure the correlation among the variables. The reliability of the body image and emotion regulation strategies that were tested using Cronbach alpha obtained a coefficient of 0.742 and 0.841 respectively, indicating a good level of reliability. The results revealed that body image and emotion regulation strategies have a significant positive correlation with r=0.406, n=305, and p
