EFFECT OF INNOVATIONS ON THE ORGANIZATIONAL PERFORMANCE OF MEDICAL LABORATORY FIRMS IN NAIROBI, KENYA

Abstract: Purpose: The general objective of this study was to establish effect of innovations on the organizational performance of medical laboratory firms in Nairobi, Kenya.Methodology:The study applied descriptive research design. The population of this study comprises 23 medical laboratory firms. A census of the 23 firms will be used. The study used Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS Version 120 .0) to analyse the primary data. Both Descriptive and inferential statistics methods were applied to analyse the data.Results:The findings revealed that digitalization of records had a positive and significant effect on the organizational performance. Regression results also revealed that digital marketing had a positive and significant effect on organizational performance. The findings revealed that digital training had a positive and significant effect on the on organizational performance. The study therefore concluded that, digitalization of records, digital marketing and marketing training had an effect on organisational performance.Policy recommendation:The study recommended that Effective training programs helps employees to get acquaintance with the desired new technological advancement, also gaining full command on the competencies and skills required to perform at s particular job and to void on the job errors and mistakes.
