Abstract:
The main objective of this paper is to explore the community involvement of FIU's Biscayne Bay Campus (BBC) part of a two Campus University in terms of the elements that comprise it, the nature of its presence in the area, and its participation in the overall economic growth and development of the Northeast sector of Miami-Dade County, Florida.This is an abridged version of the paper presented at the 15th International Conference, Istanbul, Turkey, May 2005.
