Abstract: By shortening the number of days spent on-site at their workplace, teleworking can, under certain conditions, broaden job seekers’ geographical search perimeter. By reducing the rigidities linked to geographical mobility, teleworking could thus contribute to lowering frictional unemployment.

Le télétravail, en réduisant les jours de présence dans l’entreprise, peut, sous certaines conditions, augmenter le périmètre géographique de recherche des demandeurs d’emploi. En abaissant les rigidités liées à la mobilité géographique, le télétravail pourrait ainsi contribuer à la réduction du chômage frictionnel.
