in CEEP-BIT Books from Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research (CEEP), Beijing Institute of Technology

Abstract: Completed by the Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research of Beijing Institute of Technology, China Energy Report (2016): Energy Market Research has recently been published by Science Press. As the sixth volume of the China Energy Report series, this report is produced by the research team led by Distinguished Professor Yiming Wei on the basis of long-standing research endeavors. A new volume of the China Energy Report comes out every two years, with each volume adopting a distinct research theme in response to shifting international and domestic circumstances concerning energy economics and climate policies. The themes of the preceding five volumes are energy security, energy efficiency research, carbon emissions, strategies and policies, and energy poverty respectively. Emphasizing empirical analysis and policy relevance, the series aims to furnish informational resources and decision-making references for competent national authorities through systematic, in-depth investigations. China Energy Report (2016): Energy Market Research represents the collective intellectual output of researchers from the center, who consolidated their long-term findings on major emerging issues surrounding China's energy markets in recent years. The release of this report has raised awareness of China's energy market challenges among domestic and international academic communities as well as governmental agencies, while delivering solid policy backing and decision-making foundations for future energy market development.
