Abstract:
Completed by the Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research of Beijing Institute of Technology, China Energy Report (2014): Energy Poverty Research has been published by Science Press recently. As the fifth instalment of the China Energy Report series, this report is compiled by the research team headed by Distinguished Professor Yiming Wei on the basis of long-term research efforts. The China Energy Report series releases one volume biennially, with each volume adopting a distinct research theme to adapt to evolving international and domestic energy economics and climate policy landscapes. The themes of its four preceding volumes are energy security, energy efficiency research, carbon emissions as well as strategy and policy respectively. Prioritizing empirical analysis and policy practicability, the series intends to deliver informational support and decision-making references for relevant national authorities through systematic and in-depth research.
