Abstract: The protection of migrant children in Africa presents a complex challenge requiring a holistic approach encompassing legal, social, and economic dimensions. This research explores international legal perspectives on safeguarding the rights of migrant children in Africa, emphasizing the necessity of a comprehensive strategy to address their unique vulnerabilities. It also explores the imperative for adopting a holistic approach to safeguard the rights of migrant children in Africa within the realm of international law. Key international legal frameworks, such as the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) and the International Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families (ICRMW), provide crucial guidelines for ensuring the protection and well-being of migrant children. However, these frameworks often operate in silos, leading to fragmented approaches that fail to address the multifaceted needs of migrant children comprehensively.
