Abstract: This article returns to the Association Agreement concluded and signed between the Algerian government and the European Union in April 2002. Also, with a view to extending the purely commercial aspects, such as the creation of a free trade area in 2021, it seemed interesting to us to analyse, in the current context of falling oil prices, the prospects for the Algerian economy through these agreements on energy cooperation, since Algeria presents an important energy pole for the EU through its oil, gas and electricity networks, and its geographical proximity to Europe.
