Abstract:
A specific application of computerized numeric proofreading applied to the third edition of Crystal Data is discussed. The four phases of the program are covered, along with results and conclusions. The study concludes that the merging of the character processing ability of computers and automatic typesetters will result in increased reliability and accuracy of technical publications.
