The relevance of information science to library‐school curricula

Abstract:
It is suggested that the point‐of‐view and research findings of information science and technology have a great deal of relevance to library school curricula. To produce up‐to‐date library school graduates it is not enough to append courses to existing curricula. A more imaginative and more fundamental approach is needed to integrate the fundamental concepts of information science into the entire curriculum.
