Abstract:
The recent paper in this journal by Golder and Yeomans (1973) described an application of cluster analysis to the formation of strata for a sample survey. Some issues relevant to this issue of cluster analysis are noted from marketing research literature, and the concept extended to the formation of strata for field experiments.
