Abstract:
In The December 1958 issue or this Journal the writer dealt with the main aspects of the European Economic Community1. Since that time there have been a number of significant developments, foremost of which has been the formation, largely at the initiative of the United Kingdom, of a new international grouping known as the “Outer Seven”, embracing the United Kingdom, Sweden, Norway, Denmark. Austria. Switzerland and Portugal.
