DASHBOARDBUILDER: Stata module to build a self-contained interactive HTML dashboard from Stata
Eric Booth
Statistical Software Components from Boston College Department of Economics
Abstract:
A putdocx-style builder: init -> tab -> panel -> build. Each panel call snapshots the data currently in memory; build writes ONE self-contained HTML file (inline JSON data, readable vanilla SVG/JS charts, no CDN). Tabs; kpi/line/bar/hbar/compare/table panels plus an html panel that inlines an external HTML file (e.g. a sparkta2 map) as an iframe; a selector dropdown with a reference-unit overlay; per-panel CSV/PNG downloads; save-as-PDF; callout and source notes; Texas 2036 or neutral theming; and a build receipt listing what likely still needs a human pass.
