CONVERTANYTHING: Stata module to multi-format importer and converter for Stata
Eric Booth
Statistical Software Components from Boston College Department of Economics

Walks a file or a whole directory tree and converts every Stata-friendly format it finds (csv, xlsx, xls, and more) into .dta, mirroring the source tree, optionally importing every worksheet, cleaning variable names, and compressing. Turns a shared-drive drop of mixed formats into one clean set of datasets in a single pass.
