SAN12 Stata Conference from Stata Users Group

Abstract: This study brings together Census block-level data on broadband service availability, economics, demographics, regulations, and terrain to model the supply and demand of high-speed broadband service in the United States. While Stata is the primary tool for data management and multilevel modeling, other software tools, such as GIS, are used in conjunction with Stata to generate visually arresting pictures that help communicate the study’s findings.
