Abstract: Czech market has not been overcrowded and another increase of the sale of coffee is supposed. In the year 1998 following firms had the leading position at the market: Kraft Jacobs Suchard, Tchibo and Douwe Egberts. This article pays attention to the research of the market with coffee in the chosen shops. The main attention was drawn to the producers at (he market, to the number of offered products and their prices.
