Abstract: The study presents results obtained within the research supported by Grant Agency FR no. 426/98. The survey of job opportunities for the graduates from the Faculty of Agriculture, the University of South Bohemia, was accompanied by the investigation of the requirements of employers for university graduates. The investigation was based on questionnaires and focused on requirements for new employers, mainly university graduates, in production and non-production sphere.
