Abstract: Revista pădurilor, with 126 years of publication, is among the top 5 forestry publications in the world (along Schweizerische Zeitschrift ür Forstwesen, Sylwan, The Indian Forester and Šumarski list), also presented in the article. This study highlights the special interest for Revista pădurilor (online and printed versions), from its launch in the nineteenth century to the present, both in Romania and internationally.
