Abstract:
This article analyses representations and usual ways of appropriation of open spaces by the inhabitants through a sector where several layers of suburbanization (from the sixties to nowadays) are superimposed. The different forms of attachments give value to these open spaces that become key places for mobilities and interactions. As transactional places for the inhabitants, open spaces are involved in spatial periurban planning to invent a singular in-between space. This west Parisian region shows some figures (but a non comprehensive review) of building hybrid territories between city and country side.
