Abstract:
The article aims to analyse, on one hand, the configurations of proximity and the evolution of territoriality that developed when firms from the North East of Italy delocalized : did they reproduce the same characteristics and evolution of local territoriality as they did at home ? On the other hand, it analyses what designs of proximity occurred in the development of contamination ? more or less intense ? between the different territorialities. These issues are discussed through a qualitative analysis of the delocalisation process of firms from the footwear district of Montebelluna (North East of Italy) and in Timi?oara (Romania).
