Les nouveaux entrepreneurs et la naissance de leur vocation

Michel Pinçon and Monique Pinçon-Charlot

Innovations, 2001, vol. 13, issue 1, 9-16

Abstract: In order to understand the conditions in the transmission of an enterprise from the first to the second generation, it is necessary to analyze the specific conditions in which the entrepreneur has developed his "vocation". The new entrepreneur who has built an exceptional professional fortune can choose a dynastic attitude or a meritocratic one. This diversity in attitudes corresponds to social, psychical and familial conditions in which the founder's determination has grown, as well as the diversity in experiences and paths.
