Abstract:
In New Caledonia, coastal borders are the most famous areas for tourists. Consequently, managing the number of tourists is a priority in order to prevent the region from ecological disaster. A clever policy needs to be set up to counter the negatives effects of tourism on local resources, without impeding tourism which remains the main economic activity of the island. Authors propose a roadmap for actors.
