Abstract:
This paper examines what are the stakes and conflicts between the developed and the developing countries around the concept of sustainable development. The aim is to appreciate the role of multilateral trade negotiations in the evolution of this debate and the adequacy and limits of the tools mobilized by World Trade Organisation to reach the objective of sustainable development.
