Abstract:
This article insists on specificities of the protected areas in South America. Two case studies, referring to areas of the Argentinian North-West with Unesco?s labels (Reserve of Biosphere of Yungas and Cultural Paysage of Quebrada de Humahuaca), emphasize the stakes connected with different approaches from the conservation and development.
