Abstract:
Previous researches show that local staff and local firms take advantage from technical and organizational innovations brought by FDI. However, these innovations are a source of competitive advantage for foreign investor. For that reason he uses all the protection measures to limit the transfer of his knowhow. This article examines if the transfer of knowledge is really taking place and to what extend it is beneficial to local employees. In order to answer to these questions, the case study of four foreign enterprises located in Poland was conducted.
