Abstract:
Microfinance institutions (MFIs) have a dual missions assuming financial and social goals. In fact, their performance often focus on the financial side, which affords them financial security. This leads them to ignore more small loans less profitable whose holders have no garantee. Government has decided to establish a mechanism to facilitate access to loan for these poor borrowers. We propose here a tool for targeting MFIs which are able to implement this mission at a lower cost.
