Maturité des crédits bancaires et performance des entreprises: cas du Cameroun

Abstract: The lack of long term banks credits is considered as a constraint of Cameroonians firm?s to develop. However, the empirical studies on the subject are scarce. This paper aims to determine the impact of long term banks debts on the firm?s performance. The sample is composed by 99 Cameroonians firms and the data are those of 2001-2005 period. Results show that the long term banks debts impact the performance negatively. They conduct to discuss on the necessaries levers to make banks relational vis-à-vis the firms in their credit relationship.
