Abstract:
This article attempts to understand why, despite the inflation of its uses and conceptual blurring, the concept of Crisis remains a central concept of Economics and its surrounding discourses. Furthermore, the instrumentalization of the explicative paradigm of Crisis, helps to legitimize policies that don?t always contribute positively to Human Development, in particular in terms of Gender Equality.
