Gautier Pirotte
Mondes en développement, 2012, vol. n°159, issue 3, 11-28
Abstract:
The notion of civil society, although regularly criticized, occupies an important place in the politics of development today. The author here aims at formulating certain reflections allowing approaching the study of the non-western civil societies under the angle of projects at the junction of ?dynamics of inside? and ?dynamics from the outside?. He insists on the processes of co-construction of norms, identities, social representations or current social practices in these new social spaces.
