Abstract:
The actual local development in the Tajik Pamirs is considered a product of globalization and ideological freedom. It is shaped in the context of intensified exchanges (various cooperation) of all forms (local or cross-border) being embedded in social, economic and political relations so that the sustainability of the local development depends on the quality of these relations. It is, therefore, important to highlight here and illustrate on the example of the Tajik Pamirs, political strategies associated with the economic model of development and show the attitude to power.
