Abstract:
How social capital of mobility developed by sahelian pastoral societies could adapt itself to increasing vulnerability factors : agricultural pressure, privatization of natural resources, increasing insecurity and public policies sometimes non-adapted ? Strategies developed to secure pastoral mobility in the last twenty years are questioned in their impacts on resilience of pastoral societies and contribution in security and development of these regions.
