Abstract:
This research assesses the link between fair trade and protected natural areas. We conduct two quantitative surveys that look at potential fair trade products from a peripheral zone in a natural park located a) in France (n = 185) and b) in a low-income country (n = 244). At the theoretical level, we test a co-branding model based on the concept of perceived value. To conclude, we propose solutions for financing the protection of biodiversity.
