Abstract:
The aim of this study is to find out about the effects of privatization on electricity consumers? welfare in Cameroon. We use statistical methods and beta regression. The impact of privatization, particularly on the subjective welfare of households that consume electricity, is not satisfactory. This is because globally, more than half of the households in the sample are unsatisfied after privatization.
