Problèmes géographiques des transitions énergétiques: quelles perspectives pour l’évolution du système énergétique ?

Michel Deshaies

Mondes en développement, 2020, vol. n° 192, issue 4, 25-44

Abstract: The energy transitions of the twentieth century have created a world made up of countries at different stages of development, as reflected by very uneven levels of consumption of primary energy per capita. The transition from fossil fuels to renewable energies will lead to profound geographical changes. However, for these changes to occur, many technical and geographical constraints that hinder the development of renewable energies must still be overcome. This energy transition will be a very long process, as the energy system will need to be reconfigured in the different categories of countries.
