Abstract:
This article presents a first assessment of the results of the "World Social Forum of Transformative Economies in Latin America" (WSFTE Lat). Established in 2019, the forum was initiated by Latin American institutions (universities, social and community organizations, and citizen networks). It reflects the knowledge and views of different projects and approaches to economic solidarity in the region. This process has made it possible to recognize the diversity of economic associative experiences and their common aspects, approaches, and perspectives, enriching the discussion that is taking place today in Latin America and the Caribbean regarding both the theoretical and applied aspects of the social and solidarity economy.
