Abstract:
The various climatic changes underway are having a significant impact on the PACA region, which will only be exacerbated by future changes. Through a multidisciplinary and exploratory approach, this article aims to draw a typology of residential developments in the region's coastal communities. This article presents statistics (Corine Land Cover, 2018) and mapping to show a PACA region characterized by a low adaptation challenge and a high mitigation challenge. With this in mind, and with regard to the new constraints imposed by the Climate and Resilience Law, we can hope for an effective response commensurate with the severity of climate disruption. This legal instrument should not be used alone but in combination with other financial mechanisms.
