Accueil et tourisme: changer la perspective
Prosper Wanner
Mondes en développement, 2024, vol. N° 206, issue 2, 107-130
Abstract:
The article considers two phenomenological approaches proposed by Michel Callon and Bruno Latour by focusing on situations of tourist overflows ? overtourism ? and by analyzing the conditions of reception of the people passing through a destination that the tourist system does not calculate ? the "non-tourism" (Callon 2017; Latour 2007). To this end, we observe the framing and overflowing, and we discard existing assumptions to achieve a different view of these people passing through, and thereby open up new perspectives that are more concerned with human and ecological issues.
