2. Universités et grandes écoles. Perspectives historiques sur une singularité française

Regards croisés sur l'économie, 2015, vol. n° 16, issue 1, 37-50
Abstract:
The French higher education is often seen as a dual system, divided into universities and grandes écoles, a peculiarity with no really equivalent in other national university systems. If this institutional configuration dates back to the 18th century, it is also the result of recent dynamics of legitimation, deployed by some institutions, which hide a reality probably much more fragmented than it seems.
