Les bénéfices de la densification urbaine

Marie-Laure Breuillé, Julie Le Gallo and Anne Bretagnolle

Regards croisés sur l'économie, 2021, vol. n° 28, issue 1, 170-177

Abstract: This article questions the benefits of densification as an alternative policy to urban sprawl by investigating its budgetary consequences for municipalities. It invites us to go beyond the mere measurement of density as a cursor of public policies, by considering the diversity of urban forms at the sub-municipal level.
