L'économie à ses frontières (sociologie, psychologie). Quelques pistes

Jérôme Gautié

Revue économique, 2007, vol. 58, issue 4, 927-939

Abstract: This article aims at presenting briefly some of the issues raised by the proliferation of economic research (both theoretical and empirical) at the frontiers with sociology and psychology. Section 1 distinguishes a theoretical imperialism from an empirical one. Section 2 mentions some of the debates raised by behavioural economics. Section 3 tries to derive some consequences of the ongoing research trends for the nature of the economics discipline and its relations with sociology and psychology.
