Abstract:
This preliminary note aims to detect the empirical factors of the spatial repartition of the 2008 French governmental macroeconomic plan. The econometric analysis shows i. the lack of political determinants inducing the default of pork-barreling strategy; ii. the incoherent influence of the local economic situation; iii. the positive influence of investment made by local government. This last result confirms the problems of information and implementation that lead the central government to follow local government decision. Classification JEL : E62, D72 D78.
