Abstract:
We propose here a spatial typology of French intra urban retailers, from the analysis of their supply network with warehouses. We use for this the Nielsen© database, as a spatial network of stores and warehouses. The originality of this approach lies in highlighting the distribution-logistics-transportation interactions patterns and not just the classical production-logistics-transportation one. It validates the hypothesis of a double influence on the value of the distance coming from the type of store and the warehouses category.
