Abstract: This paper aims to understand the role of network capabilities in the dynamics of knowledge creation based on an action research conducted within a localized network of firms. To do so, we propose an enrichment of the network capabilities concept, drawing on social capital literature. Then we show the key role of the cognitive dimension in the strengthening of network capabilities of knowledge creation.
