Abstract:
Recent litterature in management showed that firms conduct both competitive and cooperative strategies and that they must face paradoxical situations of co-opetition. Nevertheless, researchers rarely searched to understand how organizations and managers can combine these two antagonistic situations. Starting from the study of the mechanisms of alliances between competitors and from the analysis of the representations of the alliance managers in the ERP industry, our research project is to undesrtand the organizational mechanisms linked to this type of strategies.
