Abstract:
The objective of this paper is the analysis of the managerial structure diversity of global strategic alliances (GSA) in the airline transport field, in order to value their impact on performance. At first, the author show, from the literature viewpoint, that if the airline GSA are appreciated under various facets, their structure has not yet revealed all its secrets. Hence, they put in evidence some of the GSAstructural attributes likely to explain their performance. In a second time, they try to verify the structure/performance link of the GSA through an empirical study, leaning on the analysis of the social networks.
