Abstract:
? Christophe Everaere The Act of February 11, 2005 has increased the pressure to encourage companies (over 20 employees) to hire and retain in employment persons with disabilities (quota of 6% of workforce). How does a company in home retail ?Do IT Yourself? sector fulfill this requirement? This paper provides answers to this question by studying the obvious need to adapt working conditions and also the need to adapt management practices. The high motivation of disabled people to have a job, to work like anyone and to be equal to the task, is questioned. Recommendations are made to promote the management of this particular human resource.
