Abstract:
This article focuses on the criminal prosecutions that management scholars might face if breaking the French law in the course of their research activity. Often ignored by researchers the criminal law applies to their activities and must be carefully considered. We detail the criminal offenses which potentially apply to the works by researchers during the research itself, as well as during its diffusion. The potential articulation between this criminal law and the ongoing development of professional deontology in management research and ethics committees are eventually discussed.
